Frog Leaf Harvesting and Teachings

  • Hollyburn Foster Support Office 2014 Wall Street Vancouver (map)

Traditional Medicine uses a holistic model of well being through the integration of emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of being. The gathering focuses on traditional ceremonies, to help Caregivers and the children and youth they are caring for to learn about it firsthand. The teachings will help the Caregivers to implement the regular use of traditional medicines in their home.
Frog Leaf aka Common Plantain is wondrous and super helpful. Nature’s band-aid is one of it’s common nicknames. Use this little plant friend, externally, for your common scrapes, bug bites, bee/wasp/hornet stings, spider bites eczema, psoriasis, and other skin issues. Internally, this little plant is great for liver issues, lung issues and respiratory ailments.

The gathering will take place in the parks surrounding the Foster Support Office, followed by the teachings given at the Foster Support Office at 2014 Wall St.
