EVENT: Transitioning Youth to Adulthood

This interactive workshop looks at how to prepare youth in care for their transitions for life on their own. The session will cover such topics as how to create a formula for teaching living skills specific to the needs of youth, and how to engage youth in the process of determining how they can be better prepared.

Facilitator: Deb Verkerk

Location: Federation of Aboriginal Foster Parents

Time: 9:30 – 2:30

Costs: No charge for VACFSS and MCFD Vancouver Coastal Foster Parents   

Lunch will be provided
